DIY Blackberry FACE MASK

Yess….it’s DIY time !!!  ^^
A few days ago, I found tons of boxes displaying at the fresh fruit corner of City Mart Market Place. At first sight, I only thought of having them along with moi yummy breakfast cereal but WAIT !!!....
Homemade Blackberry Face mask?? WHY NOT???  :D
Facial masks and treatments are a great way to transition your skin. Well…I did some researches prior to this new easy DIY. So let’s see how blackberries can be beneficial for our skin.

 Benefits for your skin
These blackberries contain the highest levels of some antioxidants – even higher compared to blueberries and strawberries. The original dark and deep purple color of itself can be as the proof of its high antioxidants’ level.

"It is super beneficial for the skin. EAT it. DRINK it. TREAT it. All for your skin!"

If you can consume blackberries regularly, your skin can be protected against the damaging UVA and UVB and it also helps to renew your skin cell. There are a few easy ways to enjoy the goodness of blackberries for our skin. Hence, I decided to start with one of the basics and easiest of all, DIY Face Mask!

 Dry skin
You’ll only need 2 ingredients:
  • Blackberries
  • Honey
Here’s how:
STEP 1: Add 1 teaspoon of honey into a small bowl (wooden/glass)
STEP 2: Take a bunch of blackberries and add them together

STEP 3: Crunch the berries and mix them with honey

Now you’re ready to apply it on your face. Using your ring finger, gently apply the juice mix in circular motion. You can leave it on from 5-15 mins. Since it was my first time experiencing deep coloring on my naked skin, so I washed off my face with lukewarm water after 5 minutes.
#Oily skin
I do recommend using Yogurt instead of Honey in your juice mixture. You can also add a few drops (3-4) of fresh lemon juice for intense whitening effect ;)

There are a variety of home-made masks and scrubs that can be wonderful, natural and economic solutions for dry, oily/acne-prone skin, or even help brighten up your skin tone. I do hope that this super easy DIY (Blackberry Face Mask) can be of good help in hydrating, rejuvenating as well as brighten up your skin.

HAPPY DIY ! <3
