Yummy Late-night DIY

For people with busy schedules and odd hours..... ;)
Sometimes, it's really tough to find the energy or time to have a healthy, light meal at home so eating on time is even harder. Today, I'm sharing one of my favorite quick meal that you can make anytime you are on the fly day or night.

 Ingredients

  1. Wholemeal bread
  2. Strawberry
  3. Banana
  4. Chocolate Peanut Butter
 STEP 1: Slice the fruits

If you are the master of knife then this will only take a few seconds! :D Not for me though !
Okay so we are gonna start by chopping the banana and a strawberry. Half a banana is enough for one serving but if you want to eat a whole big meal then it's up to you!

 STEP 2: Spread the butter

To lower down the calories, I do recommend to use Almond butter. If you are using Peanut butter, then you may spread a thin layer on top of one slice of the bread. For this DIY, I've used "Chocolate Peanut Butter"...hmmm... chocolate is my favorite so ! ^^

 STEP 3: Fruits topping
Finally, you can start placing your fruits on top of the butter.....one...by....one....
Design anyhow you like (... it will be covered up anyway :P... just joking pretty ♥ )
 "Ba...Ba...Ba....ba ba....na naaa...." Hmm.... can't stop singing this! :D
" Voila....! "

You can also transform this recipe into your healthy breakfast :) This DIY is the most easy one so I didn't put much into the content which I think it's not that necessary either.

DIY Homemade Healthy Salad

 Quick and easy meal
HIGH in Nutrients & LOW in Calories & Fat
We all know that salad is a healthy option for anytime of the day. Today I would like to share my DIY salad recipe with you all. As you can see in the picture, it's fine to add any vegetables that you prefer but I tried to remain with my MUST-HAVE yummy and crunchy ingredients for the recipe. Okay pretties..........so let's get started ! :)

My choice of ingredients (for 2 servings)

  1. 1 Green Lettuce head
  2. a few Broccoli
  3. 1 Carrot
  4. 12 Cherry tomatoes
  5. 3 Strawberries
  6. 2 Hard boiled eggs
  7. 2 slices of Wholemeal bread (optional)
  8. Organic Feta Cheese
  9. 1 tsp of olive oil
  10. Pepper
  11. Japanese sesame dressing
Time to prepare the vegetables !
I'm preparing for two servings for the day so a head of lettuce would be enough for us. If you want to save time, you can also buy mixed greens or a bag of ready salad :)
Okay so, after break off all the leaves of the lettuce, I make sure that they are washed very well. Leave them dry while preparing the other vegetables and fruits. Then, you can cut the carrots, broccoli, cherry tomatoes and strawberries in whatever design you want =D ......hmmm.... these strawberries smell so gooooood ! ♥v♥
 Toast the bread
Who likes the tastes of having a bite of crispy bread !? I recommend using the wholemeal bread to minimize the calories & fat. Heat up those two babies to 100 degrees and leave them about 20 minutes. No wasting your time, let's proceed to prepare one of the Top 10 healthiest foods.
 Stir fry broccoli & carrot
Broccoli is high in vitamin C and dietary fiber. Most of the people like to eat the carrots raw but it's a "NO NO" for me -_- So what I've done is that I quickly stir fry the carrots & broccoli with 1 tsp of heated olive oil. Then put a bit of table salt and pepper. Save our time and cook for only 5 minutes so that the crunchiness still remains.
"More importantly, we do not want to loose the nutritions inside ! :)"

 Time to mix ! ! !
All the vegetables are ready and now it's time to throw them in the salad ! One of the fun parts of doing your own salad at home :) Similar to all the salad out there in the world, we are gonna add the green lettuce first. Then Follow with the cutest cherry tomatoes and delicious strawberries.
" Who doesn't love EGGS !? They are for extra protein in your salad "
You can keep your salad vegetarian if you want and it still gives you all the nutrients. I'm afraid I couldn't live without EGGS :D

People use feta cheese mostly in Greek Salads. Its flavour is tangy and salty so you might not want to put this too much! O_o Also has the creamy texture so yum yum !!♥
 Salad Dressing
For the dressing part, you can make your own style but to save time, I usually use the ready made one. It's deep-roasted sesame dressing from Japan which mainly contains soybean & sesame.
Now it's time to add the broccoli and carrot to decorate your salad! Eat well with the healthiest food broccoli.....nom nom... :P

After that, you may start cutting your toasted breads and throw them into your salad! I have friends who really hate wholemeal bread, no idea but as I've mentioned earlier... it's UP TO YOU ! :)

"and.....you are done !"

I heart you all !

Who doesn't want a pair of soft and sexy lips instantly?
"Let's start making our own homemade lip scrub ! "

Benefits of this DIY lip care

♥ Contains only natural ingredients which are chemical compound free
♥ Removes all the dead skin that make your lips dry, flaky and darker in color
♥ Prevent from future breakouts if used oftenly
♥ Magically turns into a pair of brand new pinky lips in just 10 seconds
♥ Moisture stayed in place much longer

" COME ON ! :D It's really fun to make your own skin care! 100% Guaranteed ;)"

  Ingredients
  • 2 tsp of Sugar
  • 1 tsp of Honey
  • 1/2 tsp of Lime Juice

How I make this step by step

♠ As soon as all the ingredients are ready, I put two teaspoon of Sugar into my tiny...little...ceramic bowl.

♠ Then, one teaspoon of Honey is added to combine them together. You can add more sugar depends on how you want the consistency. But I stay with my measurement :)

♠ As for lime juice, I would rather use the freshly squeezed juice to mix in the scrub.
Only half a teaspoon of lime juice is required to add and....
Mix... mix... mix....until the scrub has reached semi-runny consistency *O*
HERE IT IS !! MY VERY OWN FRESHLY MADE LIP CARE ^_^
You can store your lip scrub into old lip balm container or anything of your preference. I used my old lip balm container from the body shop! ;)
** REMEMBER ! STORING in your refrigerator is a MUST ! **
 How to use this
- Gently scrub all over your lips using your finger. Some use a toothbrush but eeeekkk! NO for me :S
- Repeat as needed until your lips are completely smooth & buttery (I work this around 45s )
- Either use a warm towel to wipe off or rinse using lukewarm water
- After that, you can use your usual lip balm to moisturize.
*** For better results, do this routine weekly ***

I did tested my lips without putting anything after my exfoliation and it was surprisingly stayed super super super soft & pink for a few days but I dooo miss my baby EOS :D
This DIY is simple, easy and anyone can afford it. Why not give it a try !?

Mask of Magnaminty : My skin miracle *O*

"Beauty is self-confidence applied directly to ur face"

Ever since I noticed that how awful my dry & sensitive skin destroy my everyday makeup routine, I started hunting for skin care products. If there's anyone out there, who has a dryish and blemish-prone skin like myself... "girls..you know it >< ". We all scare to test and put those chemical treats absorbed into your skin. Your redness become worse...your face started to breakout more and more...

Who doesn't want a smoother and healthier skin under your make up !? Well...I DO! >.O
So now, here it comes my story behind The Mask of Magnaminty !
Tons of beauty gurus have been raving about this product although a few claims to be uneffective. But why not give it a try? So as soon as my classes had finished for the day (finally :D), I run down to the one & only store in Singapore " LUSH fresh handmade cosmetics".

The minute I stepped into the store I felt sooooo excited and started to adventure for "The Mask of Magnaminty" *v* This is the moment you girls can picture how I went crazy in their black&white theme of the pots ( o_O")

Let's jump to the main part of this product review......
My first impression? This stuff smells super strange ! Well I can't help but to get over and start applying on my face with this greenish ....umm....mud? I meant "clay" of course xD

 How I work with it
  • Remove my makeup with Bioderma Sensibio (will be definitely my next review)
  • Cleanse my skin again with Philosophy Purity 3-in-1 face & eye (queuing for my reviews :D)
  • Then, wait a while for my soaked skin to naturally hydrated. Let the water vaporize!
  • On my naked face, I plaster this on my face leaving the eye area
  • Supposed to leave it on for 15 minutes, but I usually continue for 20 minutes
  • You will feel the mask getting harder on your skin after 10 minutes (depends on your room temperature -_-)
  • More effective:Rinse with lukewarm water, gently exfoliate during the cleanse
  • NO NEED to use a facial cleanser after the mask has entirely rinsed off
  • Then....you are done ! ☺ Well I continue my skincare routine.
It's true effect on my skin (dry & sensitive)

♥ Half of the debris on my pores were pulled out
♥ Gives my skin the real taste of smoothness and tingly-clean sensation
♥ It does REDUCE THE REDNESS oh my gosh ! *O*
♥ The next day I put on my makeup? Ta Daaaa! OvO My skin felts never been healthier and stay hydrated more than ever

This will be the end of my review ladies. It's always been a huge help to read the reviews before we purchase the beauty products.
Hope I can help you somehow in some way ☺
